For pt. I see ibid., vol.6, 259 (1973). The Born I and Born II approximations are discussed in the context of double ionization, and their behaviour at high energy compared with experiment. The Born I approximation, excluding exchange, is used to calculate total and partial cross sections for the double ionization of H-, He and Li+, with various approximations used for the final state of the system, some of these being found to give good agreement with experiment.
