Magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements on NixMn3-xO4 compounds (x=0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0) indicate that Mn3O4 is a good example of Neel's model, whereas all other compositions exhibit complex behaviour. The ferrimagnetic Neel temperatures for NiMn2O4 and Ni0.8Mn2.2O4 are 100 K and 90 K respectively.
