Abstract
The problem of decoherence in quantum gravity is discussed in the framework of third quantization. We propose an interpretation of the theory in which the probabilities in our observable universe have to be calculated with the use of the one-universe density matrix, which appear after tracing out irrelevant universes from the 'googolplexus' pure state. Many separate classical universes can emerge in this one-universe density matrix only after subsequent tracing in irrelevant variables.
