Abstract

The author finds an internal equation related to the inverse scattering problem for the wave equation utt- Delta u+q(t,x)u=0 with time-dependent potential q(t,x). For this purpose the author generalises the Newton-Marchenko equation developed for time-independent potentials q(x).
