Abstract

A new approach of the relativistic one-dimensional oscillatory motion of a particle is presented. It is based on a modified form of the Hamilton function of the particle. This form allows us to solve the direct and inverse problems of the relativistic one-dimensional oscillatory motion. The obtained results are applied to the harmonic relativistic one-dimensional oscillator and to the isochronous relativistic one-dimensional oscillator.
