The critical temperature Tc and critical current Ic of a type II superconductor, In 2.5 at% Bi (K approximately=1), were measured under hydrostatic pressure up to 18.2 kbar. The critical temperature decreases under pressure with an initial slope -4*10-5 K bar-1. In the measured temperature and pressure range the critical current can be approximated by a three parameter formula. These parameters are Tc, kappa , and Hc2*, where Hcs* is approximately 0.8Hc2. The pressure dependence of Ic is determined by the pressure dependence of OHc2*, Tc and kappa .
