Abstract

The specific heat of TGS doped with L-alanine has been measured at several applied electric fields. The data are compared with those which we have previously obtained in pure TGS. From the values of specific heat jump and transition width, the equivalence between both bias Eb and external fields is deduced. When a reverse field lower than Eb is applied, the specific heat of LTGS is not modified.
